About the Role The English Primary Lead Teacher plays a central role in creating a positive, engaging, and academically rigorous learning environment for primary students. As one of our English Lead Teachers, you will teach two primary classes in alternation with a target language Lead Teacher, supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth through inquiry-based learning and meaningful collaboration. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about bilingual education, values student-centered learning, and enjoys working collaboratively within an international school community. What You'll Do Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that connect classroom learning to real-world experiences and inspire academic excellence. Differentiate instruction using a variety of developmentally appropriate teaching and assessment strategies to meet the needs of all learners. Monitor and support students' academic, social, and emotional development. Maintain high expectations for student behavior and foster a positive, productive classroom environment. Integrate technology meaningfully to enhance teaching and learning. Collaborate closely with target language teachers to provide cohesive and aligned learning experiences. Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Participate in curriculum development, team planning, faculty meetings, and professional learning activities. Contribute to a collaborative and reflective professional culture. Support additional duties and projects as assigned by school leadership. What We're Looking For Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English. Authorization to work in the United States. Minimum of 3 years of Elementary or Primary school teaching experience. Strong classroom management, communication, and relationship-building skills. Collaborative, flexible, and team-oriented mindset. Demonstrated empathy, professionalism, and a positive sense of humor. Commitment to diversity and inclusion. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Education or a related field. Experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP). Experience in bilingual, dual-language, or international school settings. Cross-cultural competence and international experience. Experience developing inquiry-based and student-centered learning experiences.
