BURCH CHARTER SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE

is seeking an Elementary School Teacher for our school in Irvington, NJ! This position is for a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 4 pm. Qualified candidates will be able to work with school age children in grades K-5.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of the daily lesson plans and curriculum for students Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment Provide effective communication with parents, guardians, and caregivers Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, families, staff, and peers Participate in on-going professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with children in a classroom or classroom setting preferred Must be able to lift 25 pounds to ensure a safe environment for children at all times Must be able to communicate clearly with parents, guardians, and caregivers
