06/03/2026 Teacher, Grade 1, Leave Replacement September 3, 2026 - February 8, 2027 Weston Elementary School, Manville School District The Manville School District is seeking a caring, collaborative, and student-centered educator to serve as a Grade 1 Maternity Leave Replacement Teacher at Weston Elementary School. The ideal candidate will foster a warm and engaging classroom environment while delivering high-quality instruction that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of all learners within our inclusive school community.

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with Grade 1 curriculum standards Create a nurturing classroom environment that fosters learning and growth Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Valid New Jersey teaching certification for Grade 1 required Preferred experience teaching grade 1 Passionate about early childhood education Strong classroom management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Multilingual a plus Collaborative Salary and Benefits in accordance with the Manville Education Association. The annual salary range is commensurate with education level and years of experience, starting at $66,705 (minimum) to $95,850 (maximum) for the 2026-2027 school year.
