Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs, including special education and early childhood education strategies Utilize learning technology tools to enhance student engagement and facilitate differentiated instruction Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation Mentor students individually or in small groups to support tutoring, literacy education, and early intervention efforts Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to develop tailored educational plans for students with autism or other special needs Incorporate library services and resources into lesson plans to promote literacy and research skills Engage in curriculum development initiatives to continuously improve instructional practices and learning outcomes Requirements Proven classroom experience with elementary-aged children, especially in 5th grade or similar settings Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, colleagues, and administration Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early intervention and behavior management Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those with autism or behavioral challenges Familiarity with teaching physical education, library services, or Montessori methods is a plus Ability to design engaging lessons that incorporate writing skills, math concepts, literacy education, and standardized testing strategies Demonstrated proficiency in using learning technology tools for instruction and assessment purposes Prior experience in private school settings or early childhood education environments is advantageous We're excited to welcome passionate educators committed to nurturing young minds!
