  • 2026-2027 School Year Yeshiva Har Torah | Little Neck, NY Yeshiva Har Torah, a warm and collaborative day school serving students from Early Childhood through Grade 8, is seeking a dynamic, full-time Fourth Grade Head Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Fourth Grade Head Teacher will play a key role in supporting student growth and instructional excellence, primarily through teaching literacy, mathematics, and social studies to two fourth grade classes. Position Overview Teach two fourth grade classes in literacy, math, and social studies. Foster a structured, engaging, and supportive classroom environment aligned with Yeshiva Har Torah's mission and core values. Collaborate closely with grade-level teachers, support staff, and administration to ensure strong academic outcomes. Serve as a model of effective instructional practice and student-centered learning. Responsibilities Plan and deliver differentiated literacy and math instruction for elementary learners. Use assessment data to guide instruction and support individual student growth. Implement best practices in reading, writing, and foundational mathematics. Maintain clear communication with parents and colleagues. Support a positive classroom culture rooted in respect, curiosity, and responsibility. Participate in faculty meetings, professional learning, and school initiatives as appropriate to role scope. Qualifications Degree in Elementary Education or related field (Master's preferred). Strong background in teaching early literacy and elementary math. Experience teaching preferred, but not required. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
