Required Application Type Teacher / Admin Salary/Pay Scale $45,000-$52,700 Job Description The Le Roy Central School District is seeking a 1.0 FTE probationary Elementary Teacher. The Wolcott Street Elementary School is comprised of two buildings, PK-6, totaling 600 students and 80 staff members. The intermediate building, grades 4-6, offers a small school environment with big opportunities for our students in both academic and extracurricular areas. We look forward to hiring an individual in the intermediate building that will have an immediate positive impact on our school community. Job Qualifications The Ideal Candidate will: Minimally have NYS Certification in Elementary or Childhood Education Possess the ability to build meaningful and successful relationships with students, staff, parents and administration of the district Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively collaborate with others Challenge and support ALL learners by utilizing effective instruction and assessment methods Demonstrate a firm belief in the worth and potential of all students Utilize technology to maximize instruction and learning Application Procedure Le Roy Central School District requires the following information at the time of application: Completed online application Resume Cover letter Copies of certifications or verification from the TEACH website College transcripts At least three recent professional letters of recommendation Method - All required information should be filed electronically through the online web recruitment system.
