Elementary Classroom Teacher (K-3) SMART Academy - Cleveland, Ohio 2026-2027 School Year Position Overview Due to continued growth and expansion, SMART Academy is seeking an exceptional Elementary Classroom Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality, standards-aligned instruction in all core subject areas Implement curriculum with fidelity, including: Amplify CKLA (ELA) Reveal Math Fundations (phonics, where applicable) Utilize data to drive instruction and adjust teaching to meet student needs Maintain a structured, well-managed classroom aligned with PBIS expectations Administer and analyze assessments (STAR, IRLA, Acadience) to monitor progress Participate in iMTSS processes, including interventions and team data meetings Submit weekly lesson plans and maintain accurate gradebook records (ProgressBook) Communicate regularly and effectively with families Collaborate with grade-level teams and leadership to ensure student success Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Valid Ohio teaching license (Early Childhood or Elementary Education) Strong instructional planning and classroom management skills Commitment to data-driven instruction and continuous improvement Ability to build positive, professional relationships with students, staff, and families Preferred Qualifications Experience with the Science of Reading and structured literacy practices Familiarity with Amplify CKLA, Fundations, or similar curricula Experience working in a high-expectations or charter school environment Knowledge of PBIS and iMTSS frameworks Salary & Benefits Competitive salary (based on experience and qualifications) Comprehensive benefits package Instructional coaching and ongoing professional development Leadership growth opportunities within an expanding organization Why Join SMART Academy? Pay:

$42,530.00 - $60,000.00 per year
