Cornerstone Early Learning Center is a nurturing, inclusive, and dynamic early learning environment committed to fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in every child. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Lead PreK Teacher to join our team and play a key role in guiding young learners during this critical stage of development.Position Summary:
The Lead PreK Teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing a comprehensive early childhood education program aligned with state standards and the developmental needs of preschool children. This individual will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.Qualifications:
- Early childhood background and experience
- CDA credential and/or degree in early childhood education
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities based on developmental milestones and learning standards
- Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and document student progress and provide regular updates to parents and caregivers
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff
- Collaborate with colleagues and administrators on curriculum planning and school events
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and accreditation standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training
