AED Certification Full Job Description Position Overview:

Royal Redeemer Lutheran School, a nationally accredited Lutheran school serving students from preschool through grade 8, is seeking a dedicated and experienced elementary teacher to join our Christ-centered educational community for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position offers an opportunity to inspire young learners while fostering academic excellence and spiritual growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in subjects including reading, mathematics, science, and social studies for elementary grade levels. Integrate Christian faith and values into daily lessons, fostering a nurturing and supportive classroom environment. Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and curricula. Participate in school-wide initiatives, including chapel services and community service projects. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field. Valid Ohio Teaching License (grades K-5) issued by the Ohio Department of Education. Proven experience in elementary education, with a strong understanding of child development and instructional strategies. Commitment to integrating Christian principles into teaching practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
