As a key member of our educational team, you will design engaging lessons, implement innovative teaching strategies, and mentor fellow educators to ensure every student reaches their full potential. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in literacy, math, science, social studies, and other core subjects. Utilize diverse teaching methods, including technology integration and hands-on activities, to accommodate various learning styles and abilities. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies, fostering a positive and inclusive environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and curriculum development initiatives that enhance student engagement. Provide individualized support and tutoring for students needing extra assistance, including those with special education needs. Mentor and support fellow teachers by sharing best practices in classroom management, lesson planning, and assessment techniques. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor student progress and inform instructional adjustments. Engage with families through regular communication about student progress, behavior, and upcoming classroom activities. Support early childhood education principles when working with younger students transitioning into upper elementary levels. Experience Prior classroom experience in elementary education. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across multiple subjects such as literacy education, math, science, and social studies. Proven ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds, including experience with early intervention programs. Strong knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies that promote a positive learning environment. Familiarity with learning technology platforms, standardized testing procedures, and educational software tools. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and engaging families effectively.
