Job Description

Position Summary The Transitional First (T1) Teacher supports students who are academically ready for first grade but need additional time to develop foundational academic and social-emotional skills. This role bridges Kindergarten and First Grade through targeted, developmentally appropriate instruction. Key Responsibilities Deliver differentiated instruction in early literacy and math Provide small group and individualized support based on student data Teach and model social-emotional skills (self-regulation, relationships, decision-making) Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Collaborate with staff (K-1, SPED, interventionists) to support student success Communicate regularly with families Qualifications Bachelor's degree in
Education Valid Elementary Teaching Certification Preferred:
Early childhood or intervention experience Knowledge of MTSS/RTI and SEL practices
