Elementary Teacher (K-6)

Job Summary New Heights Christian School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while teaching in a Christ-centered environment that values academic excellence, spiritual development, and community outreach. Our small class sizes and low teacher to student ratios allow for individualized attention and ample time to support each students growth. We serve students from preschool through sixth grade and have been a trusted part of the Central Point community for over 40 years. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, collaborative, and committed to creating a developmentally appropriate classroom that encourages growth and curiosity through both faith and academics. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans in alignment with school curriculum and Christian values. Foster a classroom environment that is safe, respectful, and supportive of each child's academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development. Integrate Biblical principles and Christian worldview into daily instruction and classroom culture. Collaborate with fellow educators, administrators, and parents to support student success. Evaluate student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback. Participate in school-wide events, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development. Maintain clear and professional communication with students, families, and staff. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field (required). Previous classroom teaching experience (preferred). Commitment to Christian education and alignment with the mission and values of New Heights Christian School. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A heart for children, a teachable spirit, and a collaborative mindset.
