ASAP PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans a program of study that, as much as possible, meets theindividual needs, interests, and abilities of students. Creates a classroom culture conducive to learning. Sets and maintains standards of classroom behavior. Guides the learning process toward the achievement of instructional goals for class and for individual students. Employs a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media and technologies. Assesses student progress regularly and provides progress reports as needed. Maintains accurate, complete and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations. Participates in professional growth opportunities and employ reflective practices. Provides time for colleague collaboration, including faculty and team meetings, meeting with school administrators, committee meetings, and other meetings as required. Provides time to students and parents for education-related purposes outside the instructional day when requested to do so, within reason; use a variety of communication methods to maintain the home-school connection. Takes precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities. Plans and supervises purposeful assignments for classroom paraprofessionals and volunteers. Maintains student confidentiality. Other duties as assigned by Principal.
QUALIFICATIONS
