Our small class sizes allow teachers to build meaningful relationships with students while fostering a love for learning through hands-on instruction and individualized support. Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and caring Lead Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about Christian education, enjoys working in a small classroom setting, and is committed to helping children reach their God-given potential. This position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact while working closely with families in a supportive school community. Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with curriculum goals Create a positive, Christ-centered classroom environment Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs Monitor student progress and communicate with families regularly Foster social, emotional, and spiritual growth Collaborate with staff and participate in school events Maintain a safe and organized learning environment Experience Previous teaching experience in an elementary classroom, early childhood program, microschool, homeschool, childcare center, tutoring program, or other educational setting preferred. Experience planning and implementing engaging lessons and age-appropriate learning activities. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Experience supporting students with learning differences, special needs, or individualized learning goals is a plus. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive, nurturing learning environment. Experience communicating effectively with parents and collaborating with families. Experience in a Christian school, church ministry, faith-based program, or Christian educational setting preferred. Student teachers, retired teachers, homeschool educators, education majors, and experienced childcare professionals are encouraged to apply. Must have a genuine love for children, a passion for education, and a commitment to helping students grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
