St. Edmund's Academy PreKindergarten Teacher St. Edmund's Academy seeks a dedicated and dynamic teacher with experience working with young children in Preschool, PreKindergarten or Kindergarten for a PreKindergarten Teacher position. The Prekindergarten Teacher works collaboratively within a teaching team that includes a Junior Kindergarten Teacher and two Associate Teachers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, using the school's core curricula, responding to students' individual learning and developmental needs, collaborative communication with parents, and supporting community initiatives. The Prekindergarten Teacher will be responsible for implementing the curriculum with joy and creativity and in collaboration with the Director of Early Childhood to ensure alignment of the school's philosophy and practices. Candidates must have an outstanding record teaching early childhood or elementary school-aged groups. The ability to be collaborative, detail-oriented and innovative is essential. Excellent writing skills and strong verbal communication are expected. The candidate must model and champion the school's core values including an overt commitment to inclusion and belonging for all members of the school's diverse community. Teachers dedicated to meeting the academic and developmental needs of the students and collaborating with colleagues and parents should apply. A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
