The Pocono Mountain School District wishes to inform you of the following posted Long-term substitute position (LTS) for the approximately October 19. 2026 - Jaunary 4, 2027:
LTS 5th Grade Teacher SIS
Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in the appropriate area. The selected candidate will provide evidence of a strong academic record, excellent educational references and related experience, be able to demonstrate knowledge of current educational research, and successfully complete a series of interviews along with meeting all local requirements. Applications from qualified individuals interested in the above position must submit electronically to Dr. Courtney Burrus, Chief Human Resources Officer, via the applicant tracking system. A cover letter expressing interest in this position along with a resume should be submitted with the application document. Please use the electronic upload sections available.
Only complete application packets will be considered. A complete packet for external applicants includes:
- PA Standard Teaching Application;
- Letter of Interest;
- Resume;
- Three current Letters of Recommendation (within one year);
- Copy of Teaching Certificate;
- Copy of college/university transcripts.
