Elementary Teacher - Part Time

Overview Safe Harbor is expanding for the 26-27 school year. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teachers to join our Christian Hybrid homeschool education team. The ideal candidate will be strongly committed to fostering a positive learning environment for young learners. Part-time, 2 days per week of in-person instruction on Monday and Wednesday (PK-4th) or Tuesday and Thursday (3rd Grade). Some activities will be necessary outside of teaching time, such as connecting with parents, grading papers, or attending planned company events, including training sessions, that may be scheduled in advance. Parents remain the primary educators of their students and homeschool on the remaining days of the week. Grades Available Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade Duties Teach core subjects such as Bible, Math, Language Arts, Science, and History. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning. Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns regarding their child's education. Assess student performance through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred. Experience in elementary education, homeschooling, private, or hybrid school settings is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
