Job Description The Kindergarten Teacher plans and delivers developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with curriculum standards and the mission of Catholic education. Assess student learning through formal and informal methods and maintain accurate student records. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic, developmental, and learning needs of students. Establish clear classroom expectations and implement effective classroom management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and concerns. Collaborate with administrators, faculty, support staff, and families to support student success. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, school events, and other assigned activities. Support the school's mission and contribute positively to the Catholic faith community. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Valid state teaching certification or ability to obtain certification. Experience teaching early childhood or elementary-aged students preferred. Practicing Catholic preferred or willingness to support the mission and values of Catholic education. Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills. Ability to foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
