An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

```Duties```
  • Implement age-appropriate activities that go along with our Creative Curriculum lesson plans for preschool-aged children
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
  • Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive learning environment
  • Assess and monitor the progress of each child and provide feedback to parents/guardians
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate activities and events
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and milestones ```Experience```
  • Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or better or in a related field preferred
  • Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices
  • Ability to create engaging activities that promote learning and development
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
  • Knowledge of various subjects including math, science, language arts, and physical education As a Lead Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.
