This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in diverse learning environments, support student development, and collaborate with dedicated educators. As a Full-Time Substitute, you will bring energy, flexibility, and a passion for fostering positive learning experiences for children of different ages and needs. Duties Deliver engaging lessons aligned with established curriculum guidelines across multiple subjects, including literacy, math, and early childhood education. Implement lesson plans provided by regular teachers or develop your own based on curriculum standards. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment. Support students' social-emotional development through positive behavior management and individualized attention. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special education requirements or working with individuals with autism. Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of instruction during teacher absences. Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate regularly with school administrators regarding student progress and classroom needs. Requirements Prior classroom experience or childcare background demonstrating familiarity with classroom management and lesson delivery. Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional strategies across early childhood education and elementary levels. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and teaching styles. Familiarity with behavior management techniques and literacy education methods. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; a passion for working with children is essential.
