This opening is for the 2026-27 school year. General Responsibilities Full-time teaching load for a Kindergarten teacher Teach academics along with personal, social and emotional skills Utilize a variety of activities and instructional methods to motivate and stimulate the student's learning experience Assess students' performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills taught on a regular basis Ability to collaborate with a teaching team Stay abreast of best practices in teaching Kindergarten students Demonstrate a love for students and a desire to personally invest in their spiritual, emotional and social development Incorporate Biblical principles and character traits into daily curriculum Perform other duties as needed Demonstrate the fruits of the spirit (Gal. 5:22-23) in daily work, and interactions with colleagues and others Required Education, Experience & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field Experience in teaching lower school is required Experience in teaching Kindergarten students is strongly preferred Create a classroom environment that fosters growth and learning Agree with and support TCA's Doctrinal, Biblical and Mission statements and Christian values Have a willing heart for service (Ephesians 6:7) Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements Normal physical demands of teaching Kindergarten Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organization skills Strategic thinker and planner
