We partner with schools, districts, state agencies, and other organizations providing education and education related support to implement innovative, research-based solutions that promote student success. SPN fosters inclusive, high-performing learning environments where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Position Overview The Elementary School Teacher's responsibilities include creating a positive learning environment in the classroom, delivering lessons with clarity, assessing students' progress, and working closely with parents and staff to maximize student learning.
Key Responsibilities :

Provide direct instruction OR aiding a partner teacher on the team Learn the entire K-6 curriculum and demonstrate knowledge of how TX state standards align with it Provide support taking into account the impact of diverse and unique characteristics of students and their families Augment course content according to prescribed policies and procedures using appropriate synchronous tools Orient students to their course, communicate requirements, set and enforce deadlines where applicable Take ownership for student's academic progress and attendance; communicate high expectations and show an active interest in student's achievement; provides individualized instruction to help each students achieve K-6 curricular objectives Grade student work and maintains grade book; alert administrator to concerns about student performance and progress Collaborate with peers in order to provide a positive experience for students Minimum Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree (for Grades K-6) Hold Texas K-6 Teaching Certificate Bilingual in Spanish ESL Certified or in process of obtaining certification Preferred Qualifications Master's degree (for Grades K-6) Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools Other Required Skills & Abilities Strong written/verbal communication skills Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally Ability to stand, sit, bend, and reach as needed to perform essential functions. Experience using a student information systems (SIS) Able to pass Federal background check requirements Compensation & Benefits Salary $79,000
