Primary Purpose:
Teacher will utilize Montessori instructional technique and curriculum to enable students to develop competencies and skills which will ensure student success in the assigned subject area and in society.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university Qualified applicants will hold the appropriate valid teacher certification and endorsements for the subject and grade level to be taught. ESL supplement required Montessori certification preferred (AMS or AMI credentialed Early Childhood, 3-6 year of age level and/or Lower Elementary 6-9 age level)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of Montessori instructional techniques and curriculum General knowledge of Montessori philosophy and classroom structures Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Minimum Teacher Salary $63,810 (2025-2026 Compensation Plan) Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience. Salary will be adjusted to the start date.
