Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Super Sub to join our Elementary School team at Brighter Horizons Academy in Garland, TX. This role is crucial in maintaining the continuity of our students' learning experiences and supporting our mission of academic excellence. The Super Sub will step in for teachers as needed, ensuring that students receive quality instruction and guidance. Responsibilities Provide effective instruction and support to students in the absence of their regular teacher. Implement lesson plans and adapt them as necessary to meet student needs. Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress. Assist in the development of curriculum materials as needed. Foster an inclusive atmosphere for all students, including those with special needs. Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other activities as required. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred. Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching. Experience working with children in an educational setting. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse student populations. Familiarity with private school environments is a plus. Knowledge of special education practices is desirable.
