Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher - Kids R Kids Las Colinas Irving, TX (near 635 & Beltline) About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students per Minimum Standards. Prior experience as a Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher in a preschool setting is required. Shift Available Full-Time Lead Teacher, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (must be able to work this consistent shift) About Us Kids R Kids Las Colinas provides care for children 6 weeks to 12 years old and is open 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning across subjects including math, language, and physical education Follow the daily activity schedule and set up weekly lessons, arts, and crafts Lead fun learning activities and games; serve lunch and snacks Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning environment Observe and assess children's development and progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians Foster a safe, supportive atmosphere that encourages children to explore and express themselves Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and any welfare concerns Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment Establish positive working relationships with parents and co-workers Requirements Must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of a High School Diploma Prior experience as a Lead Teacher in a preschool or daycare setting is required Strong behavior management skills to effectively address various classroom situations Knowledge of child welfare practices to ensure student safety and well-being Dependable, energetic, and able to lift 30 pounds Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to attend routine training and meet ongoing educational requirements Must be able to pass an FBI background check How to Apply Submit your resume or apply in person at 2990 Regent Blvd, Irving, TX 75063.
