Elementary School Teacher

Hiring for the 2026-2027 School Year!

Duties:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons to elementary school students.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Implement curriculum guidelines and develop lesson plans.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a comprehensive educational program.
• Utilize classroom management strategies to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Provide support to students with special education needs or learning difficulties.
• Incorporate early intervention strategies to address academic and behavioral challenges.
• Foster a love for reading and promote literacy education.

Skills:

• Patience and a passion for working with children.
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to last minute changes.
• Strong behavior management skills.
• Strong classroom management skills to create an organized and productive learning environment.
• Knowledge of special education practices and strategies for working with students with diverse needs.
• Understanding of early childhood education principles and developmentally appropriate teaching methods.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders in the education process.
• Excellent written communication skills for creating lesson plans, documenting student progress, and communicating with parents.
• Proficient in proofreading materials to ensure accuracy and clarity of information.
• Familiarity with working with people on the autism spectrum, including implementing appropriate interventions.
