An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an age-appropriate curriculum for children in the 3-6-year-olds
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care
- Create engaging and educational activities to promote child development
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate lesson plans and activities
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and other relevant information
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development for Montessori . Must have Montessori Certification.
- Experience in preschool or childcare settings
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies
- Understanding of child welfare regulations and best practices
- Excellent classroom management skills to engage and educate young children
- Ability to promote literacy education through age-appropriate activities
- Experience working with diverse groups of children, including those with special needs
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of young children.
