ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Bonneville Academy is seeking qualified and passionate teachers for kindergarten through 6th grade for the 2026-2027 school year. Create engaging lesson plans, provide both praise and constructive feedback, and develop a well-rounded instructional program aligned with state standards and school goals. Instruction should incorporate project-based learning strategies and include a STEM emphasis where appropriate.
Duties:
Create and implement engaging instructional resources aligned with school-approved curriculum. Plan, prepare, and deliver effective instructional activities that support diverse learning needs. Adhere to and implement IEP and 504 accommodations and services for designated students. Participate in and contribute to the school's Professional Learning Community (PLC) and collaborative team efforts. Create and maintain a positive educational climate while managing student behavior in accordance with approved disciplinary procedures. Meet course and school-wide student performance goals while maintaining accurate grade books and preparing required academic reports. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Current teaching license in the State of Utah SKILLS Unconditional positive regard for students and their families Strong Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well with others
