Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Primary Lead Teacher to inspire young learners in a vibrant, child-centered environment. As a key leader in our early childhood education program, you will foster a nurturing atmosphere that promotes independence, curiosity, and a love for learning. Your expertise in Montessori methodology will guide classroom activities, curriculum development, and student engagement, ensuring each child's developmental needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. Qualifications:
Montessori Early Childhood Credential (AMS, AMI, MACTE, or equivalent preferred) Experience working with children ages 3-6 years Strong classroom management and communication skills Passion for fostering independence, curiosity, and a love of learning Ability to create and maintain a peaceful Montessori environment Responsibilities Design and implement engaging Montessori curriculum tailored to the developmental stages of primary-aged children, emphasizing literacy, math, social skills, and physical development. Lead classroom activities that promote hands-on learning, critical thinking, and independence aligned with Montessori principles. Develop individualized lesson plans that address diverse learning styles and support children with special education needs or early intervention requirements. Manage classroom environment to ensure safety, organization, and an atmosphere conducive to active exploration and discovery. Monitor and assess student progress through observations, assessments; document growth and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Foster positive behavior management strategies that encourage respectful interactions and emotional regulation among students. Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication about student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Maintain compliance with childcare regulations, early childhood education standards, and best practices in preschool teaching. Experience Proven classroom experience working with young children in a preschool or early childhood setting; prior private school experience is preferred. Demonstrated expertise in Montessori teaching methods for primary grades (ages 6-9). Strong background in curriculum development across core subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Experience working with children requiring special education services or early intervention programs is highly desirable. Knowledge of classroom management techniques that promote a positive learning environment while supporting individual needs. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood education assessments. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community stakeholders. Pay:
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
