Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lower Elementary Teacher to work with students in smaller class size. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, skilled in creating a nurturing classroom environment, and committed to meeting the needs of young learners. Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons in core subjects (literacy, math, science, and social studies)
- Foster a positive, structured, and engaged classroom culture
- Support students' academic, social, and emotional growth
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate records
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians
- Collaborate with faculty and participate in school events and professional development
- Integrate hands-on, interactive, and play-based learning experiences Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field
- Experience teaching or working with children in K-3rd grade
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred in Education or related field
- Experience in a private or independent school setting
- Background in early literacy instruction (phonics, guided reading, etc.)
- Familiarity with social-emotional learning strategies What We Offer
