Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Elementary Teacher Providence Christian Academy - Vint Hill, VA Position Summary Providence Christian Academy is seeking a passionate, Christ-centered elementary teacher who is committed to academic excellence and discipleship. Our teachers are called to educate the whole child by integrating biblical truth into every subject while fostering a classroom environment where students are challenged, encouraged, and loved. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, flexible, and has a heart for helping children grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons that align with the school's curriculum. Integrate a biblical worldview throughout all instruction. Create a safe, nurturing, and well-managed classroom environment. Assess student learning and provide timely feedback to students and parents. Maintain accurate grades, attendance, and classroom records. Communicate professionally and consistently with parents regarding student progress. Collaborate with administrators and fellow teachers to support student success. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, chapel, school events, and other assigned duties. Model Christian character and serve as a positive role model for students. Uphold all school policies and support the mission and values of Providence Christian Academy. Qualifications A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with the school's Statement of Faith. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Previous classroom experience. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
