Immediately Job Description Brewster-Pierce Memorial School in Huntington, VT is seeking a dedicated and dynamic elementary teacher to join our school community. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge and experience in the following: Love and care for all students. Believe that all students can learn at high levels. Exemplify the belief that positive relationships are the foundation for meaningful classroom experiences. Motivate and inspire students to take chances in learning and to try new things. Design and promote learning experiences that celebrate diversity and individual strengths. Demonstrate proactive, trauma-informed classroom management strategies. Have knowledge of and experience with implementing mindfulness strategies. Experience working in a multiage classroom. Nurture and promote self-discovery, respect, cooperation, and growth mindset in students. Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with families. Collaborate effectively and respectfully with colleagues. Understanding and experience with Multi Tiered Systems of Supports Seek and embrace constructive feedback with the perspective that continuous growth is essential for professional fulfillment. Use data and evidence to self-evaluate current practices and to shape classroom experiences to best meet student's needs.
