To Be Determined Job Description •Pay scale is based on education•The Maple Run Unified School District is seeking a Long Term Substitute Safety & Law Enforcement Teacher at Northwest Career & Technical Center (NCTC). Approximate dates are August 2026-January 2027. A Tech Ed Teacher delivers a competency-based instructional program from an approved curriculum. Establishes a learning environment that motivates learners and provides personal growth according to the individual's ability. Maintains effective relationships with students, parents, and other staff members. Candidate is required to hold a VT Teaching License endorsed in Tech Ed Law and Public Safety. About the
Maple Run Unified School District:
The Maple Run Unified School District enrolls approximately 2,700 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The school district includes 2 pre-k 8 schools in the St. Albans area, 1 pre-k 8 school in Fairfield, Vermont, Bellows Free Academy (High School) and the Northwest Technical Center. St. Albans offers convenient access to Lake Champlain, is approximately a 30 minute drive to Burlington, VT, is a 3.5 hour drive to Boston, and is a 1.5 hour drive to Montreal, Quebec.
