We are seeking applicants who are devoted to the ever-evolving field of education and are interested in pursuing a career at Bellevue Children's Academy (Bellevue, WA) / Willows Preparatory School (Redmond, WA). Bellevue Children's Academy (PK-5) / Willows Preparatory School (6-9) is a private school for children in Pre-Kindergarten through 9th grade. We currently have over 700 students. We offer a traditional, individualized and coordinated curriculum from grade to grade, with an emphasis on core subjects: English, social studies, mathematics and science. Our students are academically advanced, working one to two grade levels ahead of state expectations. Our curriculum is set against international standards, not state standards, further preparing our children to be dynamic and advanced thinkers and learners. Our class sizes are small, and do not exceed 14 students. We offer additional compensation opportunities in areas such as, but not limited to, Extended Care, Enrichment / Club Activities, and Summer School.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University required. Teacher certification and/or combination of equivalent education or experience. Previous teaching experience desired. Endorsement(s) in desired subject preferred. Has the capacity to create curriculum if needed. Ability to effectively communicate with parents on a regular basis. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
