La Causa, Inc. seeks an Elementary School Teacher for our K-8 charter school serving diverse and largely Latino students in Milwaukee. In this role, you will plan and deliver standards-based instruction, differentiate for bilingual and special needs learners, and build a safe, engaging, and culturally responsive classroom. You will use assessment data to guide teaching, collaborate with specialists and families, and support students' academic, social, and emotional growth. Differentiate lessons to meet diverse and bilingual learner needs. Create a positive, culturally responsive, trauma-informed classroom environment. Assess student progress and use data to guide instruction. Communicate regularly with families and caregivers. Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administrators. Implement IEP and accommodation plans as required. Participate in professional development and school initiatives. Maintain accurate records, grades, and documentation. Support school events and community-building activities.
