Faith of a Child Learning Center is a Christian based, early childhood learning center focused on outreach in our community. We believe in developing strong roots in faith in Christ, beginning with God's children when they step through our doors. We strive to create a culture of emotional, physical and spiritual growth within a safe and supportive environment.
QUALITY CHILDCARE FOCUS
Faith of a Child Learning Center is focused on quality care for children beginning at 6 weeks of age. We strive to provide individual, small group and whole group learning and development in a safe and nurturing environment. We offer enrichment experiences and a curriculum that meets each area of development with a focus on social and emotional skills. Lead and assistant teachers will have the potential to teach children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Job Responsibilities While the fundamentals of this position require that children are supervised for safety and are engaging in developmentally appropriate practices, your impact goes much deeper than that. You will nurture and guide them in their journey of faith and Christ's teachings. A non-comprehensive list of expectations follows: As a teacher, you will: Provide appropriate activities to keep children engaged and stimulate their spiritual, physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth while adhering to early learning standards Prepare and execute lesson plans in the classroom Set and track goals for individual students Record child progress in their portfolios to share with parents Maintain an organized and clean room and promote general hygiene Stay current on required trainings and possess a willingness to engage in a personal professional development plan to ensure continuing improvement of the center. Engage with children and families with a positive, professional attitude and Christ-like love Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Registered with the Wisconsin Registry Willingness to learn proper child development needs and the role of childcare provider in the childcare setting Strong communication skills Positive spiritual energy and a willingness to share that with the children and their families Clear background check Willingness to complete required training, including entry courses if applicable, CPR training, pediatric first aid, mandated reporter training, shaken baby and abusive head trauma training. 3

Our goal is to provide a warm and welcoming environment where children from 6 weeks to 5 years can begin their journey in faith and grow in a Christ-centered atmosphere. Through engaging activities, we nurture their emotional, social, cognitive, and language skills, laying a strong foundation for their future.
Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
