Troy - T01 Job Summary The Department of Chemistry and Physics within the College of Science and Engineering invites applications for a Lecturer position in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) . The successful candidate will be expected to: Teach and develop courses in several of the following areas: DC/AC Circuit Analysis, Electronic (Semiconductor) Devices, Digital Logic, Programmable Logic Controllers, Microcontrollers and Embedded Systems, Robotics/Automation, Telecommunications Electronics, and other Electrical/Electronic Engineering subjects. Participate in student recruitment, academic advising, and institutional and/or community service activities. Serve on department, college, and university committees as assigned. Supervise senior design or research projects as needed. Contribute to the continuous improvement and accreditation activities of the EEE program and the department. Attend university and college meetings, convocations, commencements, and other official functions. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Department Chair and Dean of the College of Science and Engineering. Minimum Qualifications A master's or doctoral degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field. Demonstrated ability and commitment to effective teaching. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to work collegially and productively within a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Prior teaching experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering courses (lectures and laboratories). Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties?
