Course:
Strength of Materials This course explores the fundamental principles of mechanics that govern the behavior of materials under various loads. Topics include stress and strain, stress-load relationships, load deformation, and moments such as axial, torsion, and bending. Additionally, the course covers the fundamentals of mechanics related to deformable bodies and other key concepts and laws, including Mohr's circle and Hooke's law.
What You Will Do:
Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions Engage students in learning course objectives and topics Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom Provide a positive example to students by supporting the
University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University Qualifications:
Minimum:
Master's in Civil Engineering or related field
Preferred:
