Job Description

$50.00 per hour (maximum 6 hours per week after school hours between 4:00-9:00)LOCATION
TBDTHE POSITION
Under the supervision of the Director of Career Technical Education, provide entry- level instruction for students entering the field of Engineering for the Extended Day Program (after school hours only).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide instruction for high school students in Engineering.
- Train students on the skills required for entry into the engineering field
- Participate in advisory board meetings to ensure the curriculum meets industry standards
- Develop online and classroom lesson plans
- Maintain student records, grades, and attendance
- Participate in Professional Development
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Three (3) years of work experience in Engineering or 1 year of work experience in the field and a valid teaching credential
- Possess or be willing to obtain a Career Technical Education (CTE) Credential https://lacoepd.instructure.com/courses/1077/pages/career-technical-education

- Familiarity with classroom technology preferred (CANVAS, Google Classroom, Infinite Campus)
