Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering Position Description The Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) seeks applicants for a tenure-track position in Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering (MSME), in the field of solid mechanics. The expected start date is July 1, 2027. Basic Qualifications A doctoral degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field is required by the time the appointment begins. Additional Qualifications We seek candidates who have a strong research record and a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching, training, and advising. The successful candidate will teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Special Instructions Please submit the following materials through the ARIeS portal.
