Biomedical Engineering with participation in the Institute for Engineering-Driven Medicine (IEDM) The Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at Stony Brook University (SBU) invites exceptionally qualified candidates to apply for a tenure-track position (expedited review) as a SUNY Empire Innovation Professor (at the level of Associate Professor or Full Professor) with a research and teaching focus in the areas of bioengineering and/or regenerative medicine starting in the fall of 2026. The SUNY Empire Innovation Program (EIP) supports the recruitment and retention of faculty with strong track records of research accomplishments to expand SUNY's research capacity in strategic priority areas while also strengthening areas where SUNY has a recognized leadership position.
