Your contributions will be pivotal in designing and optimizing defense systems that ensure national security and shape the future of space defense. KBR is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership in systems engineering, systems modeling, MBSE, digital engineering, digital material management, and modeling & simulation efforts. This person will serve as the MBSE Lead for the DREAMM Team, supporting multiple US Air Force programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead technical teams that apply systems modeling, digital engineering, and digital material management to support Air Force customers in the design, engineering, and delivery of advanced weapon systems Oversee development and implementation of model-based architectures and system models Develop and deliver systems modeling, digital engineering, and digital material management training courses (beginner through advanced levels) Collaborate with program leadership and customers to define technical approaches, digital transformation strategies, and execution plans Mentor engineers and drive best practices across MBSE and digital engineering disciplines

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical, or related Engineering field
Clearance:
Must have secret clearance. Eligibility for TS/SCI Strong background in systems modeling, MBSE, digital engineering, digital material management, and/or engineering tools Demonstrated technical leadership in systems engineering and model-based approaches Experience leading teams or efforts within complex engineering or DoD environments Ability to translate mission needs into digital engineering solutions and system architectures
Desired Qualifications:
Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in relevant engineering discipline Experience supporting technical efforts within DoD acquisition programs Experience leading MBSE transformations or enterprise-level digital engineering initiatives Experience with SysML, UAF, DoDAF, or other model-based frameworks/tools Experience developing and delivering engineering training or workforce development programs Ready to Make a Difference?
