Description:
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at the University of Houston invites applications for a part-time Lecturer position in environmental engineering. This is a non-tenure track position and lecturer appointments are made on a semester basis. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to build successful relationships with student populations. The Department of Civil Engineering offers a broad range of undergraduate and graduate-level course and occasionally has openings for Lecturers to teach courses beginning in the 2025- academic year. Interested and qualified candidates are invited to apply to be considered for this position. Qualifications Master's required, PhD preferred, in Civil Engineering or related fields Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidates. All positions at the University of Houston-System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check.
