Discourse and Delivery University invites candidates to for a position as an Adjunct Faculty in undergraduate coursework related to our courses for the Bachelor of Business Administration for the Fall 2026 Semester (beginning in August 2026). The team at University seeks passionate, student-centered Adjunct Faculty who are highly engaging and intrinsically motivated to create meaningful, transformational, and dynamic learning experiences for our undergraduate student body, which includes traditional campus-based students, student athletes, and returning adult students at our Livingston (Howell, MI) campus. We are looking for caring, supportive higher education professionals who are dedicated to playing a critical role in the early personal, cognitive, and social growth of students to fulfill University's Mission to "provide a student-centered and inclusive professional education that equips students with employability skills to succeed in their career and life." We are looking for Adjunct Faculty who possess relevant professional and teaching experience to instruct the following undergraduate course:

Course Description:
Englishposition is the foundational course that will prepare entering students for college-level skills in writing, readingprehension, and critical thinking through the application of grammar, tone, and audience . This application will stretch from re and writing through basic businessmunications and personal writing.

Course Description:
Explore the digital divide and discover how it is no longer defined only in terms of one's access to hardware and software . Assess a digital divide created by limited literacy skills (reading and writing) and a lack of cognitive skills needed to make effective use ofmunications-based technologies . Immerse yourself in the reading, writing, and critical-thinking practices necessary tomunicate effectively through digital technologies . Embark on aprehensive study of two key applications of kledge: 1) cognitive proficiency—you'll refine foundationalmunication skills of everyday life at school, at home, and at work, and 2) technical proficiency— you'll explore and ponents of digital literacy, including a foundational kledge of digital technology Adjunct Faculty Responsibilities Teach undergraduate in-person classes that personally engage students using active, hands-on activities in the in-person classroom. Utilize the Canvas learning management system to deliver instruction (using an existing course structure and University-selected textbook/content materials, which faculty are wee to supplement) and in-person student engagement using tools and features to deliver course content and record classroom attendance, grades, and assignments according to University instructional expectations. Practice interactive pedagogical techniques to engage students and enhance the student experience in the classroom. Implement relevant, creative, and effective teaching methodologies to engage learners and inspire original thinking, problem solving, global sustainability, professionalmunications, ethics and entrepreneurial mindset. Assess student learning based on institutional oues, course goals and objectives in an unbiased, timely, and respectful manner. Hold regularly scheduled office hours (minimum of one hour per week for each three-semester credit hour course) and be available to students on a regular basis. Work collaboratively with other faculty members, departments, and staff to develop a meaningful experience for students. Embrace education for diverse, global, and multi-cultural students. Required Qualifications and Skills An earned master's degree from an institutionally (i.e., regionally) accredited college/university in the course discipline, or a closely related discipline, with at least 18 graduate semester credits in relevant coursework. A minimum of five years of professional experience in the discipline/industry of this course with preference given to those candidates with prior undergraduate teaching experience in addition to professional experience. Ability to learn and use the Canvas learning management system, Zoom video conferencing, Microsoft Office applications, and other software programs formunicating with students, faculty leadership, and faculty peers. Ability to embrace The Mind™ as the University's approach to building each student's professional skills required by the workforce and job market. Ability to professional experiences to inform and inspire students about real-world projects, situations, and challenges.
