Clarkson College is seeking a writing lab consultant to assist students in improving their academic writing success, lead classroom workshops and graduate school webinars, participate in research endeavors, and help in maintaining the Writing Lab's online presence. This position is considered an adjunct faculty position and is an on-campus position.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum one year previous tutoring and/or teaching experience required. Master's degree in English or related field required. Strong communication and presentation skills required. Ability to maintain confidentiality required. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint or other presentation software required. Familiarity with online communication platforms (e.g. Zoom, googledocs) required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in writing center or writing instruction preferred. Working at Clarkson College means making a commitment to teaching and developing future health care leaders.
