Job Description:
The Department of Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at Syracuse University is seeking a part-time instructor to teach 4-credit section(s) of Italian I ( ITA 101) in the Fall 2026 semester, which begins on August 24, 2026 (appointment begins on August 17, 2026).
Course Description:
Italian I ( ITA 101): Introductory proficiency-based course which prepares students to understand, speak, read, and write in culturally authentic contexts. Activities are conducted in Italian. (4 credits) The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined based on their per-credit-rate-history within the hiring department. All positions and offers are subject to funding availability and enrollment.
