Full-time international faculty position for School Year 2026-2027 teaching English Writing.

College of International Business (CIB) is located in Dalian, a coastal city in northeast China. The city boasts a low cost of living, a mild climate, fresh seafood, and a relaxed atmosphere. The partnership between Missouri State University (USA) and Liaoning Normal University (China) was established in June 2000.

Job:
Faculty are approved by Missouri State University and employed by Liaoning Normal University as consultant lecturers, who work in cooperation with MSU to successfully teach an MSU-West Plains Associate of Arts degree in General Studies. They are not employees of MSU and are expected to fulfill the obligations detailed in their contracts from LNNU. Full-time faculty teach 15 lecture hours and hold 5 office hours per week. Faculty typically teach five sections of a single course. Interaction with students outside the classroom is encouraged. This position will require relocation to Dalian, China. All instruction is conducted in English, so familiarity with the China language is not required.
Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience 16,000
  • 22,000 RMB per month (Plus 3,800 per Month Housing Allowance) Contracts are paid over 12 months, August 1 through July 31.
Regular retention bonuses One-year employment contracts are standard per the Chinese Government work visa policy. Candidates looking to teach multiple years are preferred. Additional Benefits for

Minimum Requirements:
Education and Teaching Experience:
Master's degree in English writing or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Candidates must meet minimum standards for academic qualification consistent with HLC accreditation. Two years of teaching experience in a related field (University or College level preferred)
Visa:
Successful candidates must apply for and obtain a work permit/visa for China.
