If you're passionate about literacy, skilled at meeting diverse learners where they are, and excited about the energy of middle school — we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Plan and deliver engaging instruction in reading, writing, grammar, and speaking across grades 6-8 Use assessment data to monitor progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners Foster a classroom culture where students feel safe to take risks, ask questions, and grow as communicators Guide students through the writing process — from brainstorming to revision — across multiple genres and purposes Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum, literacy initiatives, and student support Integrate technology meaningfully to enhance reading comprehension and writing instruction What You Bring Strong knowledge of ELA content, including literature, composition, and language conventions Experience with differentiated instruction for diverse learners Effective classroom management skills suited to the middle school environment The ability to connect with adolescent learners and make literacy feel relevant and engaging Experience with ELL students or diverse learner populations is a plus Why This Role Middle school is where students either fall in love with reading and writing — or lose confidence in it. Pay:
