Millbrae, CA Pay:
$40-$45 per hour JEI Learning Center in Millbrae is seeking an experienced and dedicated Certified English Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. We are looking for an educator who enjoys working with students in a small-group learning environment and can provide strong instruction in reading, writing, grammar, and language arts. Responsibilities Assist students in completing JEI English workbooks , providing clear explanations and additional instruction as needed Tutor students in writing , including sentence structure, paragraph development, organization, grammar, and essay writing Review students' written work and provide constructive, age-appropriate feedback Identify students' strengths and areas that need additional support Adapt explanations and instruction to students at different academic levels Help students develop stronger English skills, confidence, and independent learning habits Communicate with center staff regarding student progress and areas of concern Qualifications Valid teaching credential/certification required Bachelor's degree required Classroom teaching experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of English Language Arts and writing instruction Excellent written and verbal communication skills Patient, dependable, professional, and comfortable working with children Able to work effectively with students at different academic levels Compensation $40-$45 per hour , depending on qualifications and experience. This is a great opportunity for a credentialed teacher looking for flexible, part-time teaching hours in a supportive small-group environment without the workload of managing a full classroom.
