This is not a remote or online position — all lessons will be conducted on-site. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, effective English lessons to high school-aged students in an in-person classroom Design custom curricula based on specific goals and themes provided by the school/organization Select and prepare appropriate teaching materials and resources to support each lesson's objectives Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods and materials accordingly Create a supportive, encouraging, and interactive learning environment Communicate effectively with students, staff, and (as needed) parents regarding student progress Maintain lesson plans, attendance records, and other administrative documentation as required Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and curriculum planning discussions as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (in Education, English, Linguistics, or related field preferred)

TEFL/TESOL/CELTA

certification preferred Prior experience teaching ESL, particularly to teenage or high school-aged students, preferred Proven ability to independently design curriculum around specified goals and themes Strong skills in selecting and adapting teaching materials to fit lesson objectives and student needs Excellent classroom management and communication skills Native or near-native English proficiency Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Must be available to teach in person in San Diego.

Pay:
